Kaethe Mayer is a certified massage therapist who has been practicing massage therapy since 2002. She received her training at Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that
also promotes healing. It is a non-intrusive method of "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and can help regenerate the body and mind. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through
and around you. Like Yoga, Reiki treats the whole person, including body, emotions, mind and spirit. A Reiki session creates many beneficial effects, includinig relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.

About Glen...

Glen (known as "Papa Bear" to friends) recieved his Reiki Master attunement in Nov. of 2010 from Karuna Reiki Master Bonnie Bradley in his home town of Hop Bottom, Pa. He is currently a student at IUP. His Reiki journey has brought him to Sunflower Yoga Studio, and he is looking forward to sharing this beautiful gift he has been given. Because it is a gift, he doesn't believe in charging for a session. Donations are welcomed and accepted.
